DAY 10! I get to bake and share.  So, I baked one starter, froze another starter, placed one in refrigerator to bake this week, and shared only one starter.  One starter made two loaves of bread.  I used the recipe below with no add-ins for one loaf and for the second loaf I added two mushed bananas and one cup chocolate chips.  The chocolate bananas was my favorite.

Amish Friendship Bread

Several years ago, I received an Amish Friendship Bread starter and quickly got rid of my three extra starters. Now I was in search of a starter to begin a new. My starter came to me this time--frozen. What an idea....to freeze it! Sometimes I wonder about my brain and its "little grey cells" hold back and laugh at me (Agatha Chirstie joke).

Also, there are many sites with many different recipes using the same starter. So, begins my journey into playing with this new starter of Amish Friendship Bread and the Friendship Bread Kitchen.
